Crab Nebula 26 Nov 2010

i also like to image deep space objects from my doorstep. light pollution on the near san diego is terrible, but narrow band filters allow me to capture nice contrasty images. my open sky oppertunities are in the east/northeast sky, and i can not view setting objects. too bad, as i live only 2 blocks from the beach, and seeing over the ocean is much darker. this crab nebula image was made with 12x4min Ha, 10×4 min OIII, and 10x4min SII. i used my maknewt telescope, a 6.5 inch intes micro MN65. the camera was an atik 314L.
